Grace Aftandilov

Director of Political and Anthropological Research

Grace Aftandilov (she/her) is the Director of Political and Anthropological Research. Grace is an anthropologist and international and comparative political analyst. A graduate of Mount Holyoke College, Grace joins the team driven by her desire to create and provide sustainable, accessible information repositories for the public. Her goals and experience are underscored by her deep commitment to knowledge-sharing and reclamation efforts.

Her past research experiences include indigenous reclamation efforts with the Ngukurr community and thorough analysis of reproductive and gender justice in Latin America. These experiences equipped her with the ability to conduct research outside of traditional methodologies and to act as a flexible and creative collaborator. Her role will be to provide extensive research to aid in LLV’s mission of illuminating and amplifying voices. Grace is based in New York.
